Marie Sherman
MSW, LCSW
Marie was born and raised in New England and lived there until 2022, at which time she relocated to sunny Spring Hill, Florida. After raising her family, she obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from Salem State College in 2002.
Her specialty has consistently been older adults with cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders. Within this focus, she has also treated clients with various diagnoses, including depression and anxiety. These diagnoses can be accompanied by chronic pain, chronic illnesses, and grief and loss. Aging can be a complicated process!
While supporting a client, she encourages including their support system—family, friends, or both. When treating a client, Marie believes in treating all aspects of their lives, providing holistic care that honors the whole person and their relationships.
