Denzie Taylor
LCSW, MCAP
Denzie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with culturally diverse groups, individuals, and families. He has provided clinical services, including individual and group therapy, to children and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings as well as with courts and justice systems.
Denzie has a proven record of successful work with adults who are dually diagnosed (substance abuse and mental illness) and is skilled with adolescents in residential care. He is a Qualified Supervisor for social workers pursuing licensure and currently enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and couples, using elements of several theoretical modalities.
Originally from St. Catherine, Jamaica, Denzie moved to England at age 15 and later to the United States in 1996. He earned an MSW in 2006 from Indiana University, and after a decade of working in psychiatric hospitals, joined Pathways in 2016. An avid cricket fan and Manchester United supporter, he enjoys fishing, golf, and travel.
